Vision6: The newest version 6.1.2 of Vision6 is here
Version 6.1.2 of Vision is now available and provides full support for wireless networks.
This new version also has minor improvements to Details view and the context menu has been restored.
What is new in this version of Vision?
Version 6.1.2 adds substantial improvements in performance over wireless networks. Significant enhancements to Vision’s wireless communication algorithm make a powerful difference that will be immediately visible in any classroom or computer lab that uses a wireless network.

      - Columns in Detail view now allow for sorting.
      - Vision context menus (right click) have been restored.
Installation of the new version 6.1.2
If Vision build 6124 or later is installed, there is no need to un-install the current software before installing version 6.1.2. The update will not impact the plug-ins that are currently installed for Vision (Surf-Lock, Pointer, App-Control) and they don’t need to be re-installed.

If an older build of Vision6 (e.g. 6112, 6115 or 6119) is installed, Vision6 must first be un-installed before installing the new version 6.1.2. Also the Vision6 plug-ins need to be re-installed.

Vision6 version 6.1.2 needs to be installed on both the instructor machine (master) and the student machines (clients).

 Print Limit

 What's New in Print-Limit 6.0

  In the Web Tools interface, a new Charge Rates page allows users to compare the amount each printer          charges per page. This Web page also displays any discounts available for grayscale or duplex printing.

  The User Inquiry Tool, which alerts users when they have a low balance, can now be configured to send a            message upon every print job. For example, you may want to alert users to the number of pages they are about         to print or how much they will be charged.
